Deputy Chris Gullett was hired by the sheriff’s office in 2009. He is currently assigned as a detective in the Investigations bureau. Chris has previously worked as an FTO, a member of the Problem Oriented Policing Team and for the custody division. Chris was elected President of the DSA in 2017 and continues to serve in that position.

Deputy Justin Swift is assigned to the custody Division. He has been on the DSA executive board for 6 years and has being the VP for 5 years.
Deputy Doug Schlief is currently employed by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the Patrol Division. He was previously employed by the Santa Rosa Police Department, where he worked many assignments as an officer and sergeant.
Deputy Chellson has been with the Marin County Sheriff’s Department since 2003. He has been assigned to Custody, Patrol, and the Marin County Open Space. He has served on the DSA Executive Board twice and is currently the appointed Secretary.
Deputy Brendon Berry has been a deputy sheriff for approximately ten years. He has held assignments in custody, courts, patrol and is currently an investigator in the Professional Standards Unit. He has been an executive board member since January, 2016.
Deputy Taj has been employed with the Marin County Sheriff’s Office since 2016. He has worked in the Custody Division and is currently assigned to the Courts as a Bailiff at the Marin County Superior Court.
Deputy Dave Estes began his career with the Marin County Sheriff’s Office in 2002. Deputy Estes has worked in the Jail and as a Bailiff for the Marin County Superior Courts. Deputy Estes is currently assigned to the Marin County Sheriff’s Re-Entry Team.
Deputy Scott Jensen has worked for the Marin County Sheriff’s Office since 2007. He has held assignments in the Custody Division, Patrol Division and Investigations Division.
MCDA Investigator Amy Yardley has been employed by the Marin County DA’s Office since January of 2017. Prior to her time with the DA’s office she was employed by Novato police department for almost ten years.

Deputy Kyle Lorenz was hired in April 2014 and has been cross trained as a custody deputy and baliff on the court floor. He has worked on the board since 2016.
Sergeant Matt Stott has worked for the Marin County Sheriff’s Office for 18 years and is currently assigned as the adult crime detective Sergeant. He has worked custody, courts, patrol and investigations as both a deputy and a Sergeant. He has held specialty positions as an operator and team leader of our Special Response Team. He has also participated on the Honor Guard as both a deputy and now as a Team Leader.
Deputy Kevin Huck has been with the sheriff’s office since 2012. He has worked for the custody division and courts as a bailiff. He is currently assigned to the transportation division as a deputy.
Deputy Shannon Kowalski has been employed by the Marin County Sheriff’s office since 2015. She has worked in the Custody Division and is currently assigned to the Re-Entry Team.
Deputy Ed Rudolph has been employed by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office since 2005. He has also worked for the San Rafael Police Department and Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department. He has worked for the Patrol Division and Investigation Division, with several specialties.
